Story of Chhori 2: When the mother's fear becomes real
The film begins with Sakshi (Nusrat Bharucha), who now lives with her younger daughter. Her daughter has a strange disease - she gets sunburn.
Sakshi's husband Rajveer kidnaps them and locks them in a scary cave. Some creepy black magic-like rituals are happening there. Sakshi finds out that a demon wants her daughter.
Now Sakshi has only three days. He has to overcome his fear and save his daughter – from the evil of humans as well as supernatural forces.
What's good in the film
🎭 Nushrratt Bharuccha has once again given a brilliant performance. She has portrayed the worry and courage of a mother very well.
👻 Soha Ali Khan's ghostly entry brings an interesting twist to the story.
🎥 The camera work and background music help create an atmosphere of fear.
💡 Serious social issues like child marriage and violence against women have also been added to the film.
The film starts off very strong and immediately creates a scary atmosphere. It is not just a scary film, but it also has emotions and social messages.
What's weak in the film
🕒 The pace of the film is a bit slow, especially in the first half.
😨 There are less scary scenes. The first Chhori film was scarier.
👹 The reveal of the monster does not seem as terrifying as expected.

At the end of the film, it seems that maybe Chhori 3 will also come, but this part doesn't seem as strong as the first film.
